working out?
I had a pretty bad day... I worked 9-3. Im trying to lose weight except I ate: -3 weet bix with milk -apricot bits in cocnut like 12 pieces -two tacos with meat and cheese and a glass of milk -a large apple, pineapple and orange juice -and a bowl of potato chips -oh and also drank water! I feel like it was a really crapp eating day overall because I complete binged out and crap and ate over 2000calories and I havent done that in over a month! So, I decided I'd do a 20minute cross training workout to make up for it. So I just finished it now and now I feel sick (sick in the stomach... like kind of a reflux sensation but its inside my tummy) and a little dizzy. Can anyone tell me why this is? I've done this workout plenty of times before and this has never happened... Thanks.

- Maybe you are doing it too fast?
- It sounds like your body didn't have enough complex carbs to fuel your workout. You can most likely blame this on the food intake you had today. Not to worry. You should probably be fine. However, in the future, remember our workouts need fuel. We get this energy from the healthy, balanced meals we eat before and after. To help with you dizzyness, you may want to replace some of the electrolytes you have lost. Drink some gatorade or eat a piece of fruit or bowl of oatmeal. You need some "good carbs."
- From what you ate, it seems like you mixed too many opposing foods around in your stomach. Try eating foods that go well together, most fruits don't go with milk, meat also doesn't go with milk etc. Also, try to only eat a small meal 2 hours before your work out and then drink some water 30 min before your work out, as well as a little whilst working out if necessary, and then eat a bigger meal 30 min after your workout. Thats the ideal, and something you should try for, though, naturally, it'll be difficult to fit the timing in just right. For now though, you should just lie down on your back, put your arms over your head and breathe deep. That usually helps. if you feel like you have a lot of gas you could kneel, bend at the hip, rest your forearms on the ground and place your head in between your arms, your butt should be up in the air. Its a relaxing position and will help to relieve pressure. Hope this helps. Cheers
