How do I lose muslce mass without gaining fat?
I am a competitive swimmer with defined arms. I am cross training by running. I would like for my arms to get smaller and so far a month after my season ended, they shrunk half an inch but stopped shrinking. I would like for them to get smaller. Is this possible? I am running five days a week for track and my coach has us lift some weights. I also swim three times a week just to stay in swimming shape. I am fit, but would also like to lose more body fat, especially in my legs.

- A great way to loose muscle mass is to stop any form of exercise in the area of interest. Swim with your legs only. Use a board and just paddle.That will help to loose volume in your arms and concentrate in your legs, you will burn the extra fat in your thighs. Stop lifting weights with your arms. Use machines for your legs only. Talk to your coach about your goals so you don't have to use your upper muscles... Best of lucks
