Summer Training Cross-Country?

I'm a decent runner. Deffiantly not bad. I just got done with Track season and I actually want to be running low 17's this year. I know I can do it, I just need to make sure i'm in shape by Season. What's the best workout for 6 days a week 1 day rest. And should I lift weights or just run and do body workouts like pushups, situps, pullups, etc.

I would recommend you not to workout 6 days a week, you should cut it down a bit because if you don't have enough rest your muscles cannot repair and you may end up losing muscle which you don't want. Because you are a runner you should do body workouts. Weight training can limit your flexibility which in turn means that you cannot use energy properly and you may feel worn out while you are running. So yeah, sit-ups, push-ups, pull-ups are the best.
