Cross Training Questions

 

Is cross country good training for track?

I have been running track for two years now, and I am a sprinter/jumper. I was thinking of joining the school's cross country team in order to run when there is no track (fall). Would this be good training for track? Or should I just do my own workouts to prepare (I run winter, spring, and summer track).

  1. uh yes it is if u can run that far on cross coutry you can run the short distances on track trust me you have good training
  2. of course it will get you more conditioned
  3. doinc XC would def def def help you!! it will give you great stamina (sorry i cant spell=D) and will be very helpful! it is also fun ! you should do it!
