How much weight will I lose on this exercise plan?
I weigh 200lbs and want to get fit rather than alter my eating habits (I do enjoy my food but don't hugely overeat - I have a medical condition which makes it hard to lose weight). How many calories would I burn and how much weight would I lose per week if I did the following every day: 25 mins rowing machine 25 mins cross trainer/eliptical 10 mins lateral thigh trainer Many thanks. How long will it take befre I notice a change in my body shape?

- It is impossible for anywone to say how much weight you would lose or how many calories you would burn. It depends on many factors such as, how many calories you are taking in, how fast your metabolism is, and the intensity of your workout. Just stick with it and you should start to see changes within three to four weeks. And sooner than that, you should find that your endurance increases, which is a sign that you are getting healthier and stronger. Good luck.

- Okay, there is no way this question can be answered accurately. There are so many factors to be taken into consideration. For example: Age Gender Calories consumed daily Effort during exercise What IS guaranteed, however, is that increased exercise + decreased calorie intake = weight loss. Good luck.
- If your plan is to lose weight without counting calories, you're going to have to work up to substantially more than what you've listed. I'm assuming you're not in peak cardiovascular condition at the moment, so its unlikely you could go at it hard enough to burn more than 500 calories per hour. Also assuming you ate EXACTLY the same as before, no extra cookie rewards, you might lose a pound a week. A combination of exercise and calorie restriction is really the most effective plan, unless you're in the sort of physical condition that you can put in hard 2-3 hour workouts several days a week....

- The way not to do it is starve yourself, to start with. Just exercise and eat right. I did....lost 90 LBS because of it. Starving yourself won't help at all. Drink more water, eat less before bed, and don't eat for stress are the 3 things I follow and i'm going pretty well if i don't say myself. 90 LBS isn't anything like 5-10lbs so take my advice.
