I use the rowing machine and cross trainer at our gym. What muscle groups am I working out?

- My guess would be all your torso and it is the best form of exercise behind swimming that is ok
- abs and thigh and calfsand pecs and arms
- Rowing machine works on the arm, back and stomach muscle groups and the cross trainer works on the thighs, buttocks and stomach.
- Rowing uses many muscles in the arms, legs, abdomen, and torso. The cross trainer lets you pedal either forward or backward. Pedaling forward works your quadriceps (the big muscles in the front of your thighs) and your gluteus muscles (three powerful muscles in your buttocks). Pedaling backward works your hamstring muscles at the back of your thighs.
- rowing machine - trapezius, deltiods, biceps, triceps, calfs, hamstrings. cross trainer - hamstrings, quads, gluteus maximus, biceps. The cross trainer gives you an excellent all body workout though, so whilst working on all the muscles your also burning a lot of fat and kcals!
