New Balance Cross-trainers causing blisters...HELP!?
I bought them brand new 2 weeks ago after trying them on in the store. Then after the first time I use them for running, they rubbed blisters on my heel! I had not noticed before that my heel was ever-so-slightly slipping inside my shoe. The next size down was too small for my foot and the width is a "B". Is this normal for breaking in new shoes? Can I take them back to the store for an exchange? Is there another remedy I can use?

- well, when you run, you're not exactly supposed to use your heels try to use the balls of your feet more often but try and be light
- Maybe this is the wrong shoe for you. The heel shouldn't be slipping. You can possibly get an insole to take up more space in the shoe, or get a thicker sock. I use Wright socks and are guaranteed to keep you from getting blisters. They are two layers, so the sock layers basically rub against each other. Go back to the shoe store with your shoes and explain the problem you're having. They should be able to remedy the problem.
