Cross Training Questions

Dress shoe's smell, tennis shoes don't?

I have three pairs of dress shoes for work and 2 pairs of cross trainers. I never have a problem with my cross trainers, but my dress shoe's always have this odor...It's the "new shoe" odor multiplied by 10 and it just stinks bad. What can I do to avoid this, and why are my tennis shoes not giving me this problem? Any other guys find this to be familiar?

  1. get leather or cloth shoes rather than the plastic ones you have
  2. get the little roller things that go in your shoe
  3. your feet r on fire in your dress shoes try some foot powder or corn starch
  4. To get rid of the problem, spray some Febreeze on the inside of them. The cause of the smell -- tennis shoes usually have holes to breathe when you're wearing them. Dress shoes don't. Another possible cause -- Dress socks make your feet sweat more than cotton socks. Cotton socks will soak up the sweat not leaving as much of an odor behind. Another possible cause -- you're wearing your dress shoes more than you are your tennis shoes.
