Cross Training Questions

I have lordosis in my.Which elliptical cross trainer would help me most? Do I really need adjustable incline?

Lordosis is inward curvature of the spine. The cross trainer puts no strain on the joints, but downward stepping would strain the lower back. I have only found one elliptical that adjusts so now I am wondering if this is really important or not. Before I invest money in one of these machines I need to be sure it will do no harm. Many thanks.

  1. google it. most of those have various levels of difficulty, not inclines and declines.
  2. you can get rid of lordosis by strengthening your abs and core, and stretching your back
  3. The only Ellipticals which have an adjustable incline are made by Precor. This is not because the technology isn't valid but because Precor has a patent on it. In the next few years, once the patent has run out, you'll see a lot more Elliptical Manufacturers using the technology. As for whether or not it would be good for your condition, you really should speak with your doctor. -The Treadmill Sensei www.treadmillsensei.com
