Epillectical cross trainer or Treadmill?

I just wanna lose some fat and i heard cardio is good...so which machine should i get?I also heard that the cross trainer tones both ur lower and upper body while treadmill only does lower body

  1. The Elliptical requires you to use both upper and lower body. Also better for your knees (less impact than running). I use both at the gym and love them both! But if I was to purchase just one, it would be the elliptical. There are different workout modes and you can do reverse pedaling which will work a different parts of your legs. It is a good machine for an overall body workout.
