Cross trainer makes legs and bum bigger?

Hi, wonder if anyone can help me. I've been using the cross trainer for an hour a time twice a weekfor the past two months. I have also been dieting and have lost weight. However, my legs and bum seem to have gone bigger. My bum used to be flat but now its gone rounder, which makes me feel fat! Could it be muscle from the cross trainer? I am not fat,im 8 stone and 5 foot 4 so I dont tink its fat. Thanks

  3. Round bum a problem? Am I missing something here? I'm sure your look amazing. Just keep exercising and watching what you eat. I notice when I first start a problem that first I balloon up like the Michellin Man, and somewhat later I start losing the fat. Don't judge until after 6 months of your program.

  5. It's MUSCLE! I had the SAME problem. Ever since I started working out, my legs and especially upper thighs, butt and stomach felt HEAVIER, and I ended up gaining weight and looked fatter than I did before. I thought that it wasn't working. But what's happening is the muscle is coming on (which is THREE TIMES heavier than fat), and shaping your body differently, and taking up more space on your body. YOU HAVE TO DIET on top of exercizing, or else you'll never lose the weight, and may end up looking bigger because of even more muscle.
