Cross Training Questions

 

I want to lose weight , i cross train , but i want better results, which is the best exercise for weight loss

Ive tried everthing for excerise. i want to no the best ultimate workout. I can't jog i have bad knees

  1. When u make sports u don't loose weight, u gain, the muscle weight more than the fat. u loose size if u do sport.!!!
  2. In order to loose fat you must build muscle. Lift more weights to lose fat. Drink lots of water and stay away from soda.
  3. If weight loss is your goal then you want a program that combines reistance training with cardio. Start out with a good weight training routine (at least 3 x per week) and finish with at least 20 mins of moderate to high intenisty cardio. The cardio will burn calories while you are exercising and the resistance training will increase you muscle mass which will increase your overall metabolic rate, meaning you will burn more calories throughout the day. Lastly, you need to make sure that your nutrional program is just as regimented as your exercise program. You can have the best exercise program but it won't get you anywhere without a good nutrional program as well.   4. whatever weight loss program u undertake, never be concious of ur weight. As ur knees ache, do simple aerobics and meditation, enjoy life,
  5. Running would have been my #1 recommendation. Swimming is great if you're looking for something less strenuous on the joints, and biking also.
