Cross Training Questions
What's the best Elliptical Cross Training machine brand?
My gym only has Technogym brand equipment. I was wondering if there are any better brands out there; comparison of noise level, smooth workout, displays adequate information on LCD screens, low electrical consumption, no strain on one particular part of body, etc... I have a problem... The good brands listed aren't sold in Singapore...

- If you're talking about the best, top of the line commecial brands, then there are a few answers -- it's sort of like comparing a BMW, a Mercedes and a Lexus. The tops brands are Precor, Star Trace, Life Fitness and Matrix. From my 20 years as a service tech repairing and working on ellipticals, the best feeling (in my experience, anyway) is the Matrix E5x. That thing is about as smooth and solid as you can get.
