Cross Training Questions

 

Will cross-country adversely affect my weight-training plans?

I am trying to build mass and strength for my final basketball season, I have about a month, but I also need cross-country because I have been grossly out of shape. Will the two needs collide negatively? Has anyone been in this predicament? Or am I over-worrying? btw my metabolism is whopping fast, which is why I am worried that running will just burn off all the proteins I take. thanks in advance to anyone who answers

  1. I can only make observations, not based on fact. However, I have observed that very good body builders generally cant fun and very good cross country runners generally cant bench press... so I can make a inference that they cannot exist together.
