- Welcome to summer in texas dude. I'd suggest running early in the morning, at 6 am. it's usually around 75 then, before the sun comes up. T-shirt is optional.
- Night?
- Morning runs are ok, but i prefer night runs, especially if you live in a small city where you can run on streets. It is peaceful and much cooler. I enjoy the heat, though and I love sweating after a run. It's tough to beat the heat, just join it.
- Early morning, before the sun really comes up. The moon doesn't produce heat, so night is like one big shadow in the cool down sense. So, if you run while its still dark/the sun is barely coming up, you'll be at your coolest. Whatever you do, don't run between 10a-2p, as that is the time when the suns rays are most directly on you!
- Early morning is the coolest time. In the evening it will still be hot at 10 pm. Be sure you drink plenty of water because when it is humid you can lose a lot of water and not know it. Take supplements because a potassium shortage can cause cramps.
- morning or night work best. i think its better in the morning though cuz you dont have to worry about it for the rest of the day and when i dont wake up early i say ill run later and then end up putting it off. whatever you do do not run in the middle of the day, i did it once and stopped and walked so many times. have fun=)
