Cross Training Questions

What is a good shoe for walking and jogging?

Before I started bought these new shoes to walk in, I was wearing my everyday/work tennis shoes which are K-Swiss and Reebok (nothing special) and they were okay. Well I bought some New Balance 601 Cross-training shoes and now my shins are sore and start hurting after a while. Why is this? Could I be breaking the show in are do I need a different kind of shoe. Please give recommendations and be nice. Thanks in advance!! Sorry, I meant before I started walking...

  1. whatever causes the least pain, for me its bare feet
  2. You`re welcome, and I love to run in bare feet, but there is a big hazard in that. I think that it all depends on how hard you run/walk in the shoes and most definatly your feet. I had to try lots of things before I realized that my feet felt best bare. So, if possible, try different things and see what works best.
  3. Maybe you need to stretch those areas before and after you walk.
