Are cross-training sneakers good for walking? I'm taking a power-walking class to fulfill my gym requirement and I wanted to get proper sneakers. Are cross-trainers good for walking... because I don't want to get a pair of sneakers that I can only use for one sport?
What cross training sneakers should I get? Like to wear to the gym and run in
Are Adidas sneakers Response 17 okay for cross training use? Although they're labeled as Running sneakers, the sales clerk at the store said they were okay for cross training - exercise classes, weight lifting, etc. I'm concerned that they may not have enough stability.
what are the best women's crosstraining shoes? I have been wearing Brook's brand shoes and am wondering if they are the best cross training sneakers. I wear sneakers every day and also to the gym.

Looking for shoe...? Hello, again... I'm trying to look for a slip on cross training sneaker from Nike which was out in stores a year ago. I'm looking for some info on that slip on, extremely lightweight, bendable shoe (there was commerical for it that has a person bending it in half, since it's so flexible), and I'm trying to buy online. Anybody have any info? p.s. and, there were made out of mesh. Please, can somebody give me the name or model of that shoe. Thanks. Mens sneaker
A question for all!... How many pairs of shoes do you own?? All kinds of scandals, flip flops, boots, shoes, slippers, sneakers, walking/ jogging/ cross training/ yoga shoes are all considered...
I got blisters on my foot today and I have a CROSS COUNTRY MEET TOMORROW? OK, so I was stupid enough to run on the track without shoes (I forgot to wear sneakers) and the track was pretty hot. Not long after, my feet began to hurt and I discovered that I'd formed blisters. I have a cross country meet (3.1 miles) TOMORROW??? How can I get rid of these blisters/ the pain as soon as possible? I do NOT want to miss the meet as I've been training for it ALL SUMMER LONG. Please give me any advice!!! I'm really stressed out!!!
hiking boots? I'm going hiking next weekend for the first time in years. We're doing a day-long hike, not too difficult, all on trails. I'm thinking I can just use my running/cross-training shoes, which are already broken in. A few people have told me to use hiking boots, though. I can buy some, but I think that maybe breaking in hiking boots on a day-long hike might be a bad idea. What do people advise? Buy some boots, and break 'em in, or wear the sneakers? I'm in good shape. I just haven't hiked.
what would your response be to this? you are sitting on the train looking out the window. it is a cross country trip. you have a little notebook with you. a guy walks up to you. he is skinny, about 28, wiry arms, big white tennis sneakers, baggy pant. he has a toothy grin. he says "hey can i borrow a piece of paper? make it two. i don't know what i'm gonna write but i'm gonna write something." (laughs at himself) does anything about him put you off? touche, he's not asking for sex. but you have to wonder if he really only wants two pieces of paper.
Where can I get a comfortable bag to carry to and from work? I take the train for an hour, thenI walk over a mile to and from work everyday with LOTS of stuff in my bag. Books, Sneakers, folders, etc. My bag tends to get heavy. Therefore, I am looking to find a comfortable bag that I can wear on my shoulder crossing over my body. So, either a 1 strap backpack or a messenger bag type bag. The strap has to be comfortable, and the bag has to be big enough to carry around books, sneakers, a sweater, etc. But not too big so that I can't tote it around everywhere. Plus, I would like one with different compartments to keep things separate like my keys and train tickets. But mostly, I'm looking for COMFORT! I have been working and doing this commute for 6 years and have YET to find a suitable bag. Any ideas????
