Are there any sneakers/tennis shoes/cross-trainer shoes that are NOT made in China? I am OK with paying more for shoes or anything made in the USA. But then again if its made in the USA using illegal alians it's no better than made in China.
Are cross-training sneakers good for walking? I'm taking a power-walking class to fulfill my gym requirement and I wanted to get proper sneakers. Are cross-trainers good for walking... because I don't want to get a pair of sneakers that I can only use for one sport?
Why do women wear socks over pantyhose with sneakers on the way to work? Obliviously I understand the cross trainers, I'm sure there way more comfortable than heels. But why the socks? Why not just put on the shoes, nobody wears socks with heels why with the sneakers? I know stupid question, I'm just curios.
I need to buy new trainers/sneakers? i really need to buy a pair or new trainers since my old ones have crapped out. I normally wear my boots when i go out but since i started gym i need a new pair. What are the best sneakers/athletic shoes for someone with ankle problems? I have broken my ankles numerous times, and am due to have ankle reconstruction in 3 weeks. I am looking for a pair sneakers that are constructed to support ankles. And I am not looking for hi-tops.....I know that's a safe choice. But I am looking for cross trainers. Thanks. BTW.........someone suggested the New Balance 854. Any feedback?
How many pairs of sneakers is too many? I have 5 pairs of light tennis shoes in 5 colours, a pair of grey Cross Trainers, old white Walking Reeboks, 3 pairs of Black walking runners, and a pair of new white work out runners. Is that enough or should I buy more?
Who makes Under Armour 's new sneakers for them? Their new line of sports performance trainers, excuse me? Does UNDER ARMOUR actually manufacture their new line of three models of sports performance cross trainers --- or does an established shoe company (like Nike, Reebok, Addidas, etc.) make them and let UA slap their logo on?
Which Type of Excercising Sneaker? I am currently doing an in-home cardio excercise, but would like to start walking as well. Should I go with a cross-trainer or walking sneaker for best support?? Thank You!
What is a good shoe type for my feet? Basically I have high arches and all the sneakers I try to wear don't help support me enough during the day. I own insoles as well but I'd like a shoe that will help. (ie. basketball shoes, cross-trainers?) Which shoe type would be best?
Smooth-sole sneakers for breakdancing/popping/etc? I see breakdancers and other hiphop dancers doing all the smooth liquid movements where their feet glide across the floor. I know if I were to try that in a pair of cross-trainers, the rubber soles would catch and I'd be going NOWHERE. Are there specific shoes that are better for this or do they take a belt sander to their sneakers or what?
Do I really need to get a shoe fitting? I'm not an athlete. I'm 16, and I want to get fit by running a few times a week. I also jump rope pretty regularly. For cross trainers, do I really need a shoe fitting to determine what kind is best for my gait, arch, etc? I've never had a problem with normal sneakers.

the ultimate question , Nike or Adidas? american vs german. I have a nike basketball shoe and an adidas cross trainer and I noticed that the nike is more durable. I'm planning to buy a sneaker but i'm having a hard time picking which brand to choose. Anyone have comments on adidas and nike's durability and comfort?
