Cross Training Questions

Planning on buying an Ellipticall cross trainer, planning on spending around $800.? Any suggestions on what models are solid. Nordic Track and Pro-Form seem good. But alot of reviews are misleading. Any help appreciated.

want to buy a 20.0 crosstrainer PROFORM - Australia? I am after a 20.0 cross trainer PRO FORM i was in Rebel Sports and seen one and tried it out. the price was $999.00 i was hoping to find something abit cheaper. just got my tax cheque back - $700 so around the $500-$700 or cheaper if lucky. i have had a look on the internet and found one in america. i`d like something in Australia with the postage and all. also information to on it would be great. i want a piece of equipment to tone and strengthen my body - back in particular. i have a congenital fusion in my neck and a slight scoliosis in my back also osteoarthritis. i need something that is low impact on my spine. i have constant pain in my neck and back and need to keep myself moving. this machine would be great. the way it is set up, it keeps my up straight ad not leaning forward. if anyone has any other suggestions, or have used this machine i`d love to hear feed back. thanks
